“Will you share your recipe?” One of the highest compliments a baker gets is being asked to share a recipe. That’s how Random Sweetness began. I love to bake, and sometimes I cook (I don’t get too fancy since my 10 and 11 year old kids desire to live on frozen waffles and Mac & Cheese), and when I share my sweets with people, I am often asked to share my recipes. So, here it is, a way for me to share my love of baking and cooking comfort food and other random things I enjoy like telling stories with photos and sharing recipes and baking tips. My specialty is cheesecake. I’ve catered many flavors of cheesecake to a few graduation parties and a wedding.
We live on 22 acres in the land of 10,000 lakes and a bjillion mosquitoes–Minnesota. Although we live in the country, I am a city girl at heart, who would miss the country if we moved back to the city.
I grew up in South Dakota and now I cross the border between MN and SD each day. I work full-time as the corporate communications manager for an international company and I love it.
You will RARELY find low-calorie recipes here… some of them I’ve created myself. I will always credit the source of my recipes since I have an addiction to cookbooks, baking magazines and online recipes.
